VARNA CITY PARK RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX

Varna City Park is a closed type urban residential complex situated in a 13 352sq.m plot. The main concept of the project is to create comfortable human scale environment. It consists of 8 separate blocks with optimal dimensions which are designed to form an architectural ensemble. This allows each of the residential units to have private parking area and a landscaped common garden infused in the entire complex.  All apartments have a favorable view. The design of the housing units is inspired by ‘fruit’, whose ‘bark’ has been ‘bitten’ and in the withdrawn forms have been formed loggias in different colors, like the core of the fruit. The seemingly ‘random’ voids from the general volume, removes the monotony of repetitive floors and creates a unique view from different perspective angles. An elegant and fresh design is achieved with the help of the rounded edges of the volumes and the white color of the buildings. The softening volume in the contact zones with other buildings creates light and cozy space suitable for living environment. The white color absorbs light and creates an optical illusion of larger spaces between the buildings.
